Quick 100% fruit jam no added sugar [whole food, plant-based, vegan]
This is how I make a quick 100% fruit jam with 1 ingredient and no added sugar.
Prep Time 5 minutes mins
Cook Time 10 minutes mins
- ½ cup dried fruit
- ½ cup water
- 1 tbsp lemon juice (*optional)
Add one part of water to one part of dried fruit. Cook for 10 minutes for the fruit to soften up and rehydrate.
Blend the cooked fruit with the water it was cooked in. You can make it completely smooth or leave some chunks.
Optionally add lemon juice for more "zing".
Store in the fridge for up to one week. It will thicken up even more once it's cooled.
